HIGH CHIEF DR MICHEAL OROBOSA UBOGU AND OTHERS TO BE HONOUR AS DISTINGUISHED MAYOR FOR WORLD PEACE (MP-UN), OF UN–PEPOLAC, AND INVESTITURE IN COMMEMORATION OF 2024 WORLD PEACE DAY, ON THE THEME: ACTION FOR PEACE: OUR AMBITION FOR A SUSTAINABLE PEACE IN LAGOS.



In a letter sent to HIGH CHIEF DR MICHEAL OROBOSA UBOGU the Group Managing Director of Micura Services Limited; ‘It is my pleasure to inform you that the Board of Trustees, the Secretariat and the International Advisory Council of United Nations –PEACE AND POSITIVE LIVING AWARENESS CENTRE (UN-PEPOLAC), through the Nomination Committee, have keenly selected and nominated you for an Appointment/Award and Investiture as the DISTINGUISHED MAYOR FOR WORLD PEACE (MP-UN).’The Award and the Certificate shall be presented to him in a colorful ceremony in Lagos in commemoration of 2024 World Peace Day.  On Thursday, 8thAugust,2024 at the LAGOS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRIES(LCCI), ALAUSA, IKEJA , LAGOSThis honour and award are in recognition of his contributions to peaceful living at the community, societal and professional levels, his efforts toward human capital development and your solidarity to global peace, in line with the UN tenets and ideals for human dignity.The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo -Olu CON, will be the Chief Guest of Honour, Commissioning of Peace Alive Initiative, under the Chairmanship of Chief Sir, Dr. Mike Okiro, IGP (rtd), CFR, mni, MP-UN (Former Chairman of Police Service Commission, (PSC), HRH (Dr.) Igwe Aston Chinwe Onuh, Orie Ihitte, Mbaise, Imo State, among others, will honour the event.
