FUNMILAYO OMOWUNMI LOREMIKAN WINS CITY PEOPLE 2026 AWARDS IN LAGOS





Funmilayo Loremikan, FACSC, FCILT, FCAI is a distinguished maritime, logistics, transport, and supply chain professional, Certified Professional Coach, mentor, and thought leader with over 31 years of service in the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA). Throughout her career, she demonstrated excellence in customer service, stakeholder engagement, operational management, human capital development, and service improvement.

She served in several strategic roles, including Marketing Officer, Tariff and Billing Officer, Personal Assistant to the Port Manager, SERVICOM Manager, and notably as the Pioneer Head of the SERVICOM Department at Calabar Port from 2019 to 2025. In this role, she championed service excellence, strengthened accountability, enhanced customer satisfaction, and improved stakeholder relations.

On 11 October 2025, she retired from the Nigerian Ports Authority after a remarkable 31-year career, leaving a legacy of professionalism, innovation, and impactful public service.

Beyond her corporate career, Funmilayo is dedicated to empowering professionals, executives, retirees, graduates, and young people through coaching, mentoring, training, and speaking engagements. She specializes in retirement reinvention, career transition, personal branding, visibility, leadership development, and thought leadership.

Her outstanding contributions have earned her several prestigious recognitions, including the Mentor of the Year Award, Exceptional Mentorship Award, Maritime Woman Award, Logistics Personality Award, Transportation Personality Award, and the African Women Achievement Platinum Award for Maritime, Human Development and Leadership.

Today, she continues to inspire and equip individuals and organizations to navigate change, build influence, develop future leaders, and create lasting impact and legacy
