PRINCESS TEMIDAYO OLAJUMOKE OLOWOLAYEMO, FCA FELICITATES NIGERIA @ 65, EXPRESSES OPTIMISM FOR A BETTER NIGERIA .
The 27th Chairman, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Akure & District Society and Past Zonal Secretary, ICAN Western Zone, Princess Temidayo Olajumoke Olowolayemo FCA, has joined Nigerians in celebrating the nation's 65th independence anniversary, while describing it as a moment of great joy and time for sober reflections.
Fielding questions from journalists at the Arcade ground, Alagbaka, Igbatoro road, venue of the independence celebration in Ondo State, she expressed optimism that the present Administration will bring positive development in the country.
"As we celebrate the 65th anniversary of our nation's independence, let's be optimistic that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Administration will turn things around considering the various Fiscal and Infrastructural reforms that the Government has put in place to better the lives of the citizens.
She however, beckoned on the good people of the Sunshine State to toe the path of unity, peace, patriotism and diligence in order to assist the State Government in accelerating the actualisation of the Goals of the OUR EASE Agenda.
While describing Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa as a friend of Chartered Accountants, Princess Temidayo stated that the 55th Annual Accountants' Conference slated to take place in at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Center, FCT Abuja between Monday 6th and Friday 10th October, 2025 comes with the theme: "Building Resilience: Aligning
Reforms for Nigeria’s Development".
She seized the occasion to appeal to the State Government to sponsor more Accountants to enable participate at the Conference which will bring a lot of benefits to the State. She recalled that Mr. Governor promised to grace the event when he hosted the 61st President in September at the Governor's Office.
Finally, she called on all Accountants in the Sunshine State to ensure they register their presence at the 55th Annual Conference.
