COMRADE ADEYANJU CELEBRATES KENECHI OKEZIE @ 50





The immediate past President-General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, Deputy President, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Vice President Global, International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) celebrates with Mrs. Kenechi Okezie, who recently clocked her age of "Golden Jubilee" on the 1st of November, 2025.

The workaholic Port Manager of the  Nigeria Port Authority; Portharcourt Port in Rivers State, recently celebrated. Prince Adeyanju describes Mrs.  Kenechi Okezie as a woman of substance, a devoted Christian and a woman of valour, whose sense of reasoning, discipline and responsibility is second to none. She's such a resourceful Maritmer with clear score card of performance.

The Oyo Prince Recalling his period as the President-General of the Maritme Workers' Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Adeyanju says that the Port Manager is a worthy Maritme Personality to count on in the industry for her overall support for the Union as always.

The current BOT Chairman of MWUN says that their relationship in the industry will continue to foster in good faith; while praying that the Almighty GOD will continue to grant her the Grace of good health, prosperity, enmeshed in longevity as her soul prospers.

The Astute Labour leader calls her my dear sister, urging her to keep the flag flying in the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA); while she writes her name in gold in the sands of time as she endures on with her good job in the maritme sector.

PRESIDENT GENERAL MWUN, COMRADE BUNU HOSTS BOAN EXECUTIVES ON COURTESY VISIT

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), led by President-General, Comrade Francis Bunu Abi has pledged the union’s strong commitment to synergize with barge operators as part of measures to boost seamless movement of cargoes across in Nigeria . Bunu who recently hosted executives from the Barge Operators Association of Nigeria (BOAN) at the MWUN Secretariat in Lagos made this known in a statement. According to a statement signed by Head of Media MWUN, Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna over the weekend, the visit, led by BOAN Vice President Mr. Hyginus Chichebem Ndukwe, was both a congratulatory call on Comrade Bunu’s recent election victory .
